These Terms govern your use of the HavenGH website. By using HavenGH you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

HavenGH is a property listings website operated from Ghana. We connect buyers, renters, and tenants with property owners and licensed agents. We are not the legal owner of the properties listed and we are not party to any agreement between you and a property owner.

2. Using the site

• You may browse listings, save favorites, and contact agents at no charge.
• You agree not to misuse the site — including but not limited to scraping listings at scale, attempting to break our security, or impersonating others.
• You're responsible for any information you submit through forms; please don't submit anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

3. Listings disclaimer

We try to keep listings accurate, but property availability, pricing, and condition can change quickly. We make no guarantee that:

• A listed property is still available.
• The price shown is final — agents may negotiate.
• The information about a property is complete or error-free.

Always verify details with the listing agent before making any commitment. Don't transfer money before confirming the property in person, viewing the title documents, and (if you can) consulting a lawyer.

3a. Fraud and scam awareness

HavenGH staff and verified agents will never ask you to send money to a personal mobile-money wallet, a foreign bank account, or via cryptocurrency for a deposit, "viewing fee", or "reservation". If anyone claiming to represent HavenGH asks for payment outside an official invoice from a registered agent, treat it as a scam and report it to havengh@gmail.com.

4. No legal or financial advice

Nothing on HavenGH constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Buying, selling, and renting property involves significant decisions — please consult qualified professionals.

5. Third-party services

The site uses third-party services. Your data may be processed by them subject to their own terms:

• Formspree — handles delivery of contact form submissions.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — used when you click any "Chat" or "WhatsApp agent" button.
• Supabase — hosts listing data and photographs.
• Google Fonts — serves the typography used on the site.

6. Intellectual property

The HavenGH name, logo, and original site content are our property. Property listings (text and photos) belong to their owners or agents and are used here with permission. You may not republish or copy listings without consent.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Ghanaian law, HavenGH and our team are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, including any losses from acting on information found on the site. Use HavenGH at your own risk.

8. Account & content removal

We may remove any listing or block any user that violates these Terms or applicable law, at our discretion and without prior notice.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest change. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
